Bob Corritore’s radio program “Those Lowdown Blues” on KJZZ (91.5FM) began on February 5th of 1984. To Celebrate the show’s 20 year anniversary, Bob threw a 2 night party on January 30 and 31, 2004 at the Rhythm Room with some great blues friends. Performers that weekend included Chico Chism, Henry Gray, CeDell Davis, King Karl, The Whitehead Brothers, Kid Ramos, Paris James, Johnny Dyer, Big Pete Pearson, Paul Thomas, Steve Cushing, and Johnny Rapp. Both nights were rowdy and festive, and the music was good old school blues. Here are some photos of this joyous event. Special thanks to KJZZ for keeping a home on the airwaves for the blues. Bob’s show is broadcast every Sunday from 6pm to 11pm and can be heard via the internet anywhere in the world at www.kjzz.org.

Bob: I’ve been a listener to your radio show since you began. Thanks for keeping the blues alive in Arizona.
Now, I am distressed that KJZZ dropped American Routes – it is a great program.
How do we get it back on KJZZ?
Best Regards,
Ross Smith
