Bob Corritore was asked to be a part of the annual Chicago Blues Festival tour. This legendary tour has been an annual event since 1970, in which an all-star band tours Europe for one month. John Primer, Billy Flynn, and Bob went straight from the Lucerne Blues Festival to join Peaches Staten, Melvin Smith, and Willie Hayes, who together became a powerful and entertaining blues ensemble performing over twenty shows to sold-out houses in five European countries (France, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Holland). A full photo page of this tour is forthcoming.
After the Lucerne Blues Festival, Bob Corritore, John Primer, and Billy Flynn joined forces with Peaches Staten, Willie Hayes, and band leader Melvin Smith for the month long, 2012 Chicago Blues Festival Tour. Here is the fantastic itinerary, though it did change slightly (one date was added and another dropped). We will just touch upon this tour in this “Year In Review” photo page, because we will have a whole photo page dedicated to this tour forthcoming!
Bob Corritore took this photo from the stage at Le Manege Espace St Germain in Vienne, France, on November 29th. Each night of this one month tour was played to packed houses. This photo is just one example.
