Marco Fiume Blues Passion Festival 2005, Rossano, Italy
Bob brought his band, The Rhythm Room All-Stars featuring Big Pete Pearson to play at the Marco Fiume Blues Passion Festival which took place July 22, 23 and 24, 2005 in Rossano, Italy. This festival is presented each year by Maria Giulia Sorrentino and Michel Remond to honor the late Marco Fiume, a brilliant Italian blues guitarist and the son of Maria Giulia. Marco is best known for his great work in the states with the Candye Kane band. He was a friend to Bob and the All-Stars and it was our honor to honor him. The All-Stars along with the Mannish Boys and the Lisa Otey / Kathleen Williamson Duet were the U.S. acts to appear. The Italian bands included Marco Pandolfi & The Jackknives, Umberto Porcaro & Roller Coaster, The Midnight Ramblers and Dipinto Di Blues. Enjoy a few photos from the trip!
