Louisiana Red is one of the most heartfelt, dynamic forces of traditional blues around today. A stirring vocalist, wickedly raw and wild guitarist and a poetic songwriter, Red delivers his blues nightly with great passion.  Louisiana Red and Bob Corritore first met at the Delta Fish Market in Chicago in the summer of 1980. A year or so later Red rejoined Bob in Phoenix, Arizona forming a band and playing together for a year until Red left for Europe (which has been Red's home ever since). During Red's stay in Phoenix, he and Bob developed a deep friendship and musical camaraderie that has kept them in touch over the years. The CD Sittin' Here Wonderin' was produced by Bob in 1982 and released years later (1995) on the Earwig record label. This CD spearheaded a renewed U.S. interest in this long overlooked blues giant. Red and Bob remain close and meet up annually in Phoenix to play and record together.
